A great adventure。An epic story of great characters。 Incredible friendship and connecting。 I would recommend this book to all those that love a good fantasy novel。

Very goodVery good book。 Much better than book three。 Probably as good as book one and four。 Not as good as book two。The ending is very dangerous though。 I've read a thousand different series in the fantasy genre。 I've seen this kind of thing tried before。 I've never once seen it done wellBut I have a little bit of faith in kel kade。 So far she's four out of five in terms of great books in this series。 So I'm just hoping that my faith will be rewarded, and I can't wait for book six Very goodVery good book。 Much better than book three。 Probably as good as book one and four。 Not as good as book two。The ending is very dangerous though。 I've read a thousand different series in the fantasy genre。 I've seen this kind of thing tried before。 I've never once seen it done wellBut I have a little bit of faith in kel kade。 So far she's four out of five in terms of great books in this series。 So I'm just hoping that my faith will be rewarded, and I can't wait for book six 。。。more

Pretty good, the pacing was a little weird at the end but I love the series and can't wait to get the next book (whenever that comes out。)I think if the writer took a little bit more time letting the story unfold instead of rushing it, it would be much better。 That's really my only complaint though, the writer is really great at what they do and it's a very good story。One more thing, I see a lot of weird comments about how the author is "Never going to finish the series" or whatever。 Sometimes b Pretty good, the pacing was a little weird at the end but I love the series and can't wait to get the next book (whenever that comes out。)I think if the writer took a little bit more time letting the story unfold instead of rushing it, it would be much better。 That's really my only complaint though, the writer is really great at what they do and it's a very good story。One more thing, I see a lot of weird comments about how the author is "Never going to finish the series" or whatever。 Sometimes books take years to get put together。 The Dresden Files came out one after the other really fast and then there was a break。 Lord of the Rings was written and release all together。 I'd rather see the author take their time and write how they want to write rather than be rushed by people who can't wait a few years for a book。 Hopefully this shines through in books sales for the author so they can continue to work on this and other series they are interested in writing about。Excited for what comes next! 。。。more

Great characters, but plot holes。。。 Honestly, I love this series。 The character is great。 But there are constant mistakes and story holes that the author makes and won't correct。 If you share them with her, she ignores you。 It's unfortunate。 That said, if you don't care about things like someone getting stabbed and they all just get up and keep walking and it's never mentioned again, you'll likely love the series。 Great characters, but plot holes。。。 Honestly, I love this series。 The character is great。 But there are constant mistakes and story holes that the author makes and won't correct。 If you share them with her, she ignores you。 It's unfortunate。 That said, if you don't care about things like someone getting stabbed and they all just get up and keep walking and it's never mentioned again, you'll likely love the series。 。。。more

With Dragons and Demons, I'm glad we finally got more Reskin goodness, and I hope we don't have to wait as long for the next installment。 Having said that, this is probably my least favorite book of the series。First, the good。 We finally get some answers regarding the mysteries surround Reskin。 In fact, I'd go as far as to say that we now know most of them。 Unfortunately, I think that these revelations came with too much exposition。 I know having more knowledgeable characters literally explain t With Dragons and Demons, I'm glad we finally got more Reskin goodness, and I hope we don't have to wait as long for the next installment。 Having said that, this is probably my least favorite book of the series。First, the good。 We finally get some answers regarding the mysteries surround Reskin。 In fact, I'd go as far as to say that we now know most of them。 Unfortunately, I think that these revelations came with too much exposition。 I know having more knowledgeable characters literally explain the the ignorant character is a tried and trusted trope to explain things to the reader, but every time I come across it I'm left with a feeling of distaste at the lack of finesse。 In the end, this is just a minor bother。A bigger bother is the ever expanding cast of characters。 This is also a common problem in literature, when throughout a series the main cast becomes more and more bloated, and the older characters end up being sidelined。 King's Dark Tidings' already had a lot of prominent characters, and yet more were added in this book, some which were understandable and some for no apparent purpose, because the author could've just as well used another already established character to fill the necessary narrative roles。 In fact, from the very start of the book the party was already split (because there is no conceivable way to have all those characters in the same place), and we didn't get viewpoints from important, albeit secondary, plot threads。 And from the state of things by the end, it looks like that will happen again next book。Finally, my biggest problem has to do with how the romantic relationships progressed。 I will now enter in spoiler territory, so if you want to avoid it, please stop here。 I can't help but to feel that they only progressed the way they did was for plot development, and that the trajectory the characters were traveling before shouldn't have ended there。There's Nanessy, who's besotted with Reskin, but then seems to just give him up to unceremoniously fall for Entris。 He also returns the sentiment with little buildup, despite the fact that he has pursed Azeria for a long time。Then there's Wesson and Diyah, which was something that was dangling almost ever since Wesson was introduced and seemed a pretty big deal in Mage of No Renown。 They meet, have 2 paragraphs of conversation and that's it。 Pretty anticlimactic。 Oh, and now he suddenly accepts Celise, because it must feel quite liberating learning the love of your life married someone else。Finally, Azeria appears in denial, despite her dreams of Rez, so she treats him harshly。 But then randomly she will show affection and then go back。 This hot and cold happens a few times and by the end it seems she's come around。 My biggest problem is how Reskin, despite all his reluctance, that was mentioned several times in the past books, just falls for her, just lets go of his hesitance, of his fear of letting down his guard。 There's no reason given。 It literally just happens。Well, something I forgot to mention is that in this book, Rezkin is not as much of a badass as he was previously。 In fact, for the first time he meets people that actually outmatch him。 That was an interesting development that explored a side of his character that we hadn't seen yet。By the end of the book, it feels like most of the cards are on the table。 Despite my complaints, I still enjoyed it and am looking forward for the next。 I hope it'll follow a tighter plotline and avoid increasing the size of the main cast。 。。。more

I am honestly really impressed with this book。 Kel Kade went all out for the entire book focusing on Rezkin's character development mainly! For those of you asking why she, Kel is a woman, hasnt written any more KDT yet, she self-published all the KDT stuff。 When she got an actual publisher they made her write something else and gave her a set amount of time before she could go back and write KDT。 We dont know what that timeline looks like, so please stop saying that she is doing wrong by her fans。
